Overview

The Everest panorama trek is one of the easiest treks in the Everest region, Nepal. It is also a short 9 days trekking program that ascends to the iconic Namche Bazaar. The trek starts from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, and takes you close to the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest (8,849 m/29,032 ft).

This package is also known as the Everest View trek. If you are looking for an easy, short trek to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Himalayas and also witness Mt. Everest views, then the Everest panorama trek 9 days is a perfect package. Moreover, you will also get to see the daily lifestyle of Sherpas and their culture.

What to expect during the Everest panorama trek 9 days?

It is an easy/moderate trek. You will follow an adventurous trekking route via lush rhododendron forests and mountain villages. The trail goes along the Dudh Koshi river, crossing it several times via suspension bridges. You will start the Everest panorama trek from Kathmandu and fly to Lukla.

From Lukla, the trail gradually ascends to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,286 ft). On the way, you will come across a settlement called Monjo, from where the Sagarmatha National Park begins. The final ascent before reaching Namche Bazaar is a bit tough because of the steep and rugged route.

Namche Bazaar is the largest Sherpa settlement area with many shops, cafes, restaurants, lodges, and museums. You will spend two nights in Namche Bazaar and hike to the Hotel Everest View. It is one of the highest luxury hotels in the world and also holds the Guinness World Record.

Unlike most treks in the Everest region, the Everest panorama trek sees a low rise in altitude. Therefore, the risk of altitude sickness is also very rare during this trek. The highest point you will touch during the Everest panorama trek 9 days is Hotel Everest View, which is situated at 3,962 meters (13,000 ft).

As you trek Lukla onwards, the trail opens up gradually, offering beautiful landscapes and mountain vistas. Along the way, you will see stunning views of Mt. Everest (8,849 m/29,032 ft), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m/27,940 ft), Mt. Ama Dabla (6,812 m/22,349 ft), Mt. Thamserku (6,608 m/21,680 ft), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m/25,791 ft), and many others.
