Client Reviews
  • rating starTrekking in Annapurna region and the Langtang Valley - a fantastic experience!

I have been trekking in Nepal on three occasions and on all of them I have had Bigraj as my guide. Twice I have been trekking in the Annapurna region and on one occasion the Langtang Valley trek. The last time was November 2022 (was not possible to select that year above).

The first time I was in Nepal I have been dreaming of trekking in the Himalayas for a long time. From the beginning we were a group of three people but the other two had to cancel after the first night, because they got sick. Bigraj was incredibly responsive to their needs and made sure they could safely return to Pokhara. I continued the trekking with Bigraj. He is amazingly fun to trek with, very entertaining and nice. It also felt safe to have him with me after the other two in the group had returned. Bigraj contributed with his professionalism, knowledge, kindness and great sense of humor so that my trip lived up to my dreams and more!

So it has been an easy choice who I wanted as a guide on the other two occasions. Bigraj has enhanced the experience by responding to questions about the surroundings and local culture in a knowledgeable manner. He has also provided a service beyond the expected. At the end of the day when we had finished trekking, he made sure that everything was at satisfactory, arranged the dinners and made sure I was satisfied with the accommodation. Everything has been incredibly well organized and I am so grateful to Bigraj that has made my trips to Nepal to an experience of a lifetime. I would not hesitate in having Ascent Adventures Nepal organize my future trip and would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to trek in Nepal.
