Pike Peak Trek is a hidden gem for all trekkers and mountain lovers. Pike Peak is located in the lower part of the Everest region, which is standing at an altitude of 4,065 meters. The summit of Pike Peak is the highlight of this trek. It offers stunning panoramic mountain ranges, including massive Mount Everest. This trek is perfect for those who want to avoid crowds, experience the majestic beauty of the Himalayas, and explore typical local villages.

Pike Peak is located on the shortest and most accessible trekking route in Nepal to observe the world's highest mountain. You can reach the trek starting point in 7-8 hours of driving from Kathmandu. You can get there by public and private vehicle. The road has been well paved, but due to the mountains and rivers, you will experience scenic zigzag driving.

This trek starts from Dhap village. This trek is not just about seeing mountain views; it also provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture. Along the trek, you will pass through charming villages where you can interact with local people, and you will experience their daily lifestyle. You will trek through peaceful forests of rhododendron, pine, and oak. The fresh air, sounds of nature, and serene environment make this trek even more special.

This trekking route is a tea house-based trek. You will stay in the local guest houses, and they provide you basic food and drinks. These are our regular itineraries; please feel free to contact with us if you would like to customise them to suit with your budget and timetable.

One of our company staff will receive you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel by private vehicle. Your hotel is located in Thamel, which is in the heart of Kathmandu city. In the evening we will collect you from the hotel and take you for a welcome dinner. During the dinner, we will brief you about the entire program, and then we will move forward accordingly.

Today is your preparation day. You will meet with your guide, who will brief you about the entire trip and check your gear to make sure you have enough equipment for the entire journey. If you don't have proper gear, then the guide will advise you to purchase enough. You can buy or rent from the trekking shop nearby the hotel.

We will take you on a short Kathmandu city tour. The tour guide will take you to Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, which is situated at a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will get an opportunity to engage with locals and witness Nepalese customs, culture, religion, and tradition during the tour. 

Today your journey will start after your breakfast at the hotel. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel with a private vehicle and drive to Dhap village, from where you will start your trekking. The road is in good condition from Kathmandu to the trek starting point, Dhap, so you will reach your destination comfortably. You will have your lunch on the way at a local restaurant where you can taste local cuisine (Dalbhat). While you reach Dhap, you will check in at a local guest house and spend the night. 

Today we advise you to wake up early and hike up to the viewpoint for sunrise and panoramic views, which is situated over the village at an elevation of 3000 m, from where you can see stunning mountain views, including the world's highest, Mount Everest. Hiking from the hotel to the viewpoint will take you about 25 minutes. After the wonderful hike, you will come back to the hotel and have breakfast, then trek to Jhapre for 5/6 hours. Today you will walk into the beautiful pine forest and along the mountain ridges, from where you will observe panoramic views and beautiful valleys. While you reach Jhapre, you will check in at the local guest house then by the evening you will gather in the dining room for your dinner, where you can discuss with your guide about the further program.

Your trek will start after a delicious breakfast. Today you will trek through serene rhododendron and pine forests, and you will see stunning Himalayan ranges along the way. When you reach the hotel, we advise you to climb to the viewpoint for sunset.

Today you need to get up early and hike to the Pike Peak viewpoint for the sunrise view. This is the highlight of your entire trek, from where you can see numerous mountain ranges, including Mount Everest. After this beautiful hike, you will need to turn back to base camp, and we will take an extra day just in case of bad weather. You will stay one more night at basse camp. 

Today you will trek to a beautiful Sherpa village called Junbesi. Today you will trek through pine and rhododendron forest. Whenever you reach the hotel, you will check in, and after having some tea or coffee, you can explore around the village. In the evening, you need to gather in the dining room for your dinner. During the dinner, you will discuss with your guide for your further program.

Today you will trek to Salleri, which is the district headquarters. You will trek through beautiful villages and cross a few wooden and suspension bridges. Whenever you arrive at the hotel, you will check in, and you can explore around the Salleri town. 

Today you will drive back to Kathmandu by private vehicle for 8-9 hours. The vehicle will depend on the group size. You will have lunch on the way at the local restaurant where you can taste local foods. While you arrive in Kathmandu, you will check in at the comfortable 4-star hotel and spend the night.

One of our representatives will transport you to the airport by private vehicle for your smooth departure around three hours prior to your scheduled flight.
