As you make your way through the Khumbu region, you’ll pass through traditional Sherpa villages where the local Buddhist culture is deeply rooted. The warm hospitality of the Sherpa people, their monasteries, and prayer flags fluttering in the mountain breeze will immerse you in the spiritual essence of the region. You’ll visit beautiful Gompas (Buddhist monasteries), experience Tibetan Buddhist rituals, and see locals going about their daily lives in a landscape that feels untouched by time.

The ascent requires a mix of technical Ice and rock climbing skills, but with proper guidance from experienced guides and climbers, this peak is doable for those with some mountaineering experience. As you approach the summit, the view from the top is nothing short of spectacular – a panoramic vista that includes Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho you, Amadablam and other towering peaks of the Khumbu range.
